Who we are

Obsessed AI is operated by Catterfly LLC. This policy covers the Obsessed AI iPhone app and website. For privacy and support requests, contact support@obsessedai.app.

Information we collect

• Account information: your Apple account identifier and, if shared by Apple, your name and email or private relay address. We do not receive your Apple password.
• Style profile: your name, birthdate for the minimum-age check, selected identity, style preferences, feedback tone, occasions, goals, onboarding answers, and reminder settings.
• Photos and outfit history: photos you choose to submit, the local date and time zone of submission, AI feedback, and processing status. The app resizes and re-encodes photos to remove embedded location and camera metadata before uploading.
• Technical information: service providers may process IP addresses, request metadata, security logs, and error information needed to operate the service. Obsessed AI does not intentionally log your photos, access tokens, or full AI inputs.

How we use it

We use information to sign you in, personalize outfit feedback, maintain your private history, deliver reminders you choose, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. Ratings describe clothing and styling; they are subjective AI feedback and may be inaccurate.

AI analysis—with your permission

Before your first analysis, we ask for explicit permission to share your selected photo, style tags, preferred occasions, and style goal with OpenAI. We do not send your name, email, Apple identifier, or birthdate as part of the analysis prompt. Photos may contain faces or other details you choose to include.

The integration requests that responses are not stored as OpenAI application state. OpenAI’s API data is not used for training by default unless the API customer opts in. OpenAI may retain content for abuse monitoring, generally for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its policies. This is not a promise of immediate deletion or zero retention. You can withdraw AI permission in Profile. That stops new analyses; it does not recall information already processed. You can still access account controls and delete saved outfits.

Service providers and storage

Supabase provides authentication, our database, and private photo storage. Vercel hosts the website and API. OpenAI provides photo analysis. Apple provides sign-in, App Store purchases, and related platform services. Providers process information for these functions under their own applicable terms. Data may be processed outside your country. Our current Supabase project is hosted in Canada.

Photos are stored in a private bucket. User-scoped access rules protect account data, and temporary signed URLs allow you to view your own photos. We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-app advertising, or publish an outfit feed to other users.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data and saved outfits while you use the service, until you request deletion. Individual outfit deletion removes the saved analysis and photo from active Obsessed AI storage. Limited operational backups, security records, and provider logs may remain as needed for legal, security, or recovery purposes under applicable retention schedules.

To permanently delete your account, go to Profile → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, contact support@obsessedai.app. We may need to verify account ownership. See our account deletion guide for details.

Your choices

You control which photos you select, AI-analysis permission, optional camera access, and reminders. The system photo picker allows selecting a photo without granting access to your whole library. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. You can use Apple’s private relay email option.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information and to object to certain processing. Contact support@obsessedai.app to exercise these rights. We may verify your identity and respond within applicable legal time limits. We do not currently offer a public signup form or use advertising analytics on this website.

Age requirement

Obsessed AI is intended for users aged 13 and older, subject to any higher minimum required where they live. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that a younger child has provided personal information, we will take steps to remove it.
